Kat Januszkiewicz

Kat originally joined the firm in 2018 as a member of the defense litigation group, after gaining experience at a high volume in-house litigation firm. She is currently working with the firm’s general practice group on a wide range of legal matters including real estate transactions, matrimonial actions, and family law issues. Kat is a detailed oriented and dedicated attorney and prides herself in ensuring that her clients always feel important.

Prior to attending law school, Kat pursued a Ph.D. in Archaeology and currently holds a B.A. and M.A. in that field. She participated in multiple archaeological excavations in Israel, Jordan, Spain, and Greece.

Kat speaks fluent Polish and currently lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn with her husband and their two pugs. Outside of her practice of law with the firm, Kat's wide range of interests include cultural heritage preservation, art law, reading and traveling.
